The Ticket to Work site at provides disabled workers information and links to benefit planning and advocacy. Many disabled people want to work, but may hesitate to seek employment because of fears over rejection, job failure and losing financial or medical benefits. The Ticket to Work program, which has work incentives and a benefits safety net, aims to reduce those risks. Local employment networks are available to serve more than 130,000 qualified Minnesotans who have been issued a ticket since November 2003.
