Newburgh schools embark on $50 million upgrade Ground is broken at Meadow Hill Newburgh Enlarged City School District officials yesterday kicked off the first phase of the district $50 million facilities improvement project. Work will be performed on Meadow Hill, Temple Hill and New Windsor Elementary Schools, Gidney Avenue Memorial School and North Junior High School and include roof repairs, heating and ventilation repairs, electrical system, fire alarm or emergency lighting improvements and other “bricks and mortar” maintenance items.
