Bennett, 54, of Brockton, who recently underwent hip surgery, was among the wheelchair-bound people who firefighters had to carry out of the 3-year-old ballpark after a power outage shut down the elevators. "I knew there was no other way out. I wasn't surprised," Bennett said.
