OUTDOOR FURNACES

Empyre outdoor furnaces use a non-pressurized system that heats the water surrounding the fire chamber. The water is thermostatically controlled by setting the aqua stat to the desired water temperature. The pump then circulates the hot water from the furnace connected to a home or shop, using a 3/4" to 1 1/4" water pipe from the furnace.

Many hot water outdoor furnaces sold on the market today use a grade 409 stainless steel, commonly called "titanium enhanced" stainless steel. Grade 409 stainless steel ranks at the bottom of the stainless ladder.

These outdoor furnaces have a heavy duty 5 inch automatic ash removal auger, adjustable combustion air intake and a built in alarm system that notifies the user of any malfunction by flashing beacon and by telephone. Pelco outdoor furnaces have a hinged roof for easy access.

The Empyre and Cozeburn outdoor furnaces are the most well engineered and well-built outdoor furnaces on the market. The firebox has a corrugated baffle design on the top with a large dip at the back. These features on the outdoor furnaces keep the heat in the firebox, increasing efficiency.
